Webinars offer a great opportunity to receive the latest information on pharmaceutical science topics without the need for travel or time away from home and office. Plan to participate in our upcoming live events, replay a past session in our archives, or submit a proposal for organizing your own webinar!
New in 2016
Co-produced by the American Chemical Society, the 2016 Drug Design and Delivery Symposium will allow AAPS members to interact with expert chemists from every aspect of the drug discovery process to learn how drugs are designed, screened, tested and more. Join us live starting on January 28! More information and registration can be found on our Partnership webpage.
Organizing a Webinar
AAPS webinars provide members with an additional venue for their publishing interests, and, as an end result, they offer an interactive and diverse selection of continuing education events. All without the need for travel, lodging, and time away from home and office. These live events then become archived and available for viewing 24/7.
The process begins with the completion and submission of the webinar proposal form. After review and approval by the AAPS Electronic Program Development Committee (EPDC), the presenter, and moderator will coordinate with the webinar producer/administrator and agree on a date and time for the event. AAPS will provide all instructions and guidance on a timely basis. AAPS webinars are typically 90 minutes in length, with 45 minutes devoted to the formal lecture (synchronized with PowerPoint slides) followed by 45 minutes of Q&A.
To learn more or discuss your upcoming event, please contact Meredith Weston, eLearning Program Manager, at +1.703.248.4775 or email WestonM@aaps.org.
