Important Notes for Authors

  1. You must become an AAPS member before submitting your abstract, if you plan to use the membership discount on your registration for the 2023 NBC. Join now!
  2. Be sure to read all instructions and complete all tasks. The submission site will guide you through submitting your abstract step-by-step.
  3. Use the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is not supported.
  4. All abstract submissions must be completed in the submission website. AAPS will not accept abstracts submitted by other means.
  5. You must format your abstract as described in the Call for Poster Abstracts (PDF).
  6. Review the Tracks/Themes/Keyword(s) in the Call for Poster Abstracts (PDF) before beginning your submission to ensure your abstract fits the meeting’s tracks.

Call for Volunteer Screeners

AAPS seeks volunteer poster abstract screeners to review submitted poster abstracts for the 2023 National Biotechnology Conference. To be a screener you must agree to:

  1. Review and select the Review Groups in which you are experienced. The Review Groups correspond to the NBC Tracks/Themes/Keyword(s)
  2. Review screener training before screening begins.
  3. Spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the applicable literature in your area of expertise.
  4. Spend a few minutes reading each abstract assigned to you and answering a few questions about it.
  5. Review assigned abstracts January 27-February 13, 2023.
