AAPS Seeks Experienced Scientists to Lead Our
2024 PharmSci 360 Abstract Screening Committee!

The PharmSci 360 Abstract Screening Committee (ASC) manages the screening process for poster abstracts submitted for presentation at the 2024 PharmSci 360, which will be held October 20-23, 2024, at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, UT. 

Available Positions

AAPS members may apply for the following positions:

  • Vice Chair
  • Track Screening Chairs: 8 available positions
  • Track Screening Leaders: 8 available positions

Volunteer Requirements

  • Must be an AAPS member through October 23, 2024.
  • Must monitor the review process for Early Submission Screening, May 3-24, 2024, and the Late Breaking Submission Screening, July 19–August 9, 2023.
  • Must not be a member of another AAPS Committee.*

Applicants will be notified about their application status in early April 2024

*Attention: AAPS members are prohibited from serving on more than one AAPS Committee at a time to ensure that many voices from the membership are represented in AAPS’ governance and in the selection of science and programming.

Members will not be considered for roles on other committees until their term is complete.

Members may participate in short-term volunteer activities (e.g., task forces, moderating a session, serving as a mentor) at any time, regardless of their service on an AAPS Committee.

Important Notes for Authors

You must become an AAPS member before submitting your abstract if you plan to use the membership discount on your registration for PharmSci 360. Join now!

 

Read all instructions and complete all tasks. The submission site will guide you through submitting step-by-step. Be careful not to miss a step!

 

Include data in your abstract. AAPS poster abstracts are data-driven. Abstracts that have no data, or that make promises to include data later, will be rejected.

 

Travelships and Awards

Early Abstract submissions will be evaluated for AAPS Awards and/or Travelships.  Late Breaking Poster Abstract submissions will not be considered for AAPS Awards or Travelships.

Call for Volunteer Abstract Screeners

AAPS seeks volunteer poster abstract screeners to review submitted abstracts for the 2024 PharmSci 360.  To be a screener you must agree to:

  1. Review and select the Review Groups in which you are experienced. The Review Groups correspond to PharmSci 360’s tracks and topics. 
    Learn More about Tracks/Subtrack/Topics
  2. Review Screener Training before screening begins.
  3. Spend a few minutes familiarizing yourself with the applicable literature in your area of expertise.
  4. Spend a few minutes reading each abstract assigned to you and answering a few questions about it.
  5. Review assigned abstracts May 3-20, 2024, for early submissions and/or July 18-August 6, 2024 for Late Breaking Poster Abstract submissions.
