AAPS Recognizes Importance of Quality in the Pharmaceutical Sciences
PharmSci 360 Conference to Feature Sessions and Posters Examining Trends in Drug Quality
Arlington, VA—AAPS joins other industry organizations and partners in recognizing World Quality Month, an annual celebration led by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and ASQExcellence (ASQE).
PharmSci 360, taking place November 9-12, in San Antonio, Texas, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, will feature a number of presentations covering topics related to pharmaceutical quality across the product lifecycle, including critical quality attributes, extractables and leachables, modeling approaches, regulatory compliance for advanced therapy medicinal products, Quality by Design in manufacturing, and data integrity.
The PharmSci 360 program is available online.
"AAPS, through our in-person events, digital programs, and publications, offers scientists resources to ensure that no matter where they fall in the product lifecycle, they have the tools to research, develop, and manufacture high-quality and effective therapeutic products,” AAPS Executive Director Tina Morris, Ph.D., said.
“It is vital for scientists involved at every stage of the drug development and commercialization process to ensure their work is based on credible science and approaches that ensure the highest levels of quality for the patients we serve," 2026 AAPS President Meena Subramanyam, Ph.D., said. "I encourage scientists across the industry to access all the resources AAPS offers to ensure a quality-centric focus in their mission-critical research."
