Two AAPS Journals See Increase in Impact Factors in 2024

Arlington, VA—AAPS is pleased to announce that the impact factors for the peer-reviewed journals AAPS PharmSciTech and Pharmaceutical Research increased in 2024.

AAPS PharmSciTech increased from an impact factor of 3.4 to 4.0, ranking it 82 out of 352 journals in Springer Nature’s Pharmacology & Pharmacy category. Pharmaceutical Research increased from an impact factor of 3.5 to 4.3, ranking it 81 out of 239 journals in the category Chemistry, Multidisciplinary.

“The impact factor is one of the most important metrics for scientific journals like AAPS PharmSciTech. Our editors and Editorial Advisory Board strive to continually improve the quality of papers that are published,” AAPS PharmSciTech Editor-in-Chief Robert O. (Bill) Williams III, Ph.D., said. “This encourages top researchers in the pharmaceutical sciences to submit their papers to AAPS PharmSciTech, improves reach through indexing and readership, and brings in world-renowned expert reviewers to enhance our peer review process. Our new impact factor directly reflects the scientific quality of our published papers.”

AAPS members have free, unlimited, electronic access to articles in AAPS’ four peer-reviewed journals.

To submit an article to any of the four AAPS journals, visit the individual page for each journal.
