AAPS Recognizes Ethical Practices Across the Pharmaceutical Sciences
Resources Available for Scientists Across the Drug Product Lifecycle

Arlington, VA—AAPS will once again open two webinars addressing ethical research practices within the pharmaceutical sciences in recognition of Ethics Awareness Month.

These webinars include Retractions Are On The Rise, But Not Enough, featuring Retraction Watch co-founder Ivan Oransky, and Publish or Perish: Peer Review in the Pharmaceutical Sciences. Both will be open for non-AAPS members during the month of March.

The association joins other organizations in honoring Ethics Awareness Month, emphasizing the criticality of ensuring the research behind therapeutic products follows ethical guidelines.

“Patient safety depends on researchers adhering to ethical practices from discovery through delivery,” said Meena Subramanyam, Ph.D., 2026 AAPS President. “AAPS offers a range of resources to help ensure scientific research is ethical, credible, and mindful of end users. I encourage everyone working in the pharmaceutical sciences to use these resources and keep ethics at the forefront of their work.”

The association encourages scientists in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors to take advantage of resources that address ethics in science and assuring credibility of peer-reviewed research. Resources for pharmaceutical scientists include archived webinars on AAPS Science 360, articles in the AAPS Newsmagazine, and sessions at conferences.
