AAPS Virtual Workshop – Beyond GLP1s: Where the Science will Take Business Next
May 13-14
Arlington, VA—AAPS is excited to announce the virtual, executive-oriented workshop, “Beyond GLP1s: Where the Science will Take Business Next.” Join business leaders and scientists for a candid conversation about the latest scientific shifts in treating diabetes and other metabolic syndromes, and where it’s leading researchers and executives in every part of the drug development pipeline.
Sessions will explore the evolution of GLP-1 therapeutics, research into new modalities to treat obesity and diabetes, and where innovation will take the market next. The workshop will offer scientific insights that executives at both large and small pharmaceutical firms can use as they evaluate the future business direction of diabetes and obesity therapeutics.
“Metabolic syndromes, including obesity and diabetes, have become core lifestyle diseases in this era and need to be evaluated carefully for care of a larger global population,” said Praveen Tyle, Ph.D., CEO and board member of Orion Biotechnology and a current member of the AAPS Business and Partner Development Committee. “Solutions to these wellness ailments need to be deeply analyzed. The scientific programming committee has put together a world class group of experts to tackle various issues surrounding this vast topic.”
“Beyond GLP1s: Where the Science will Take Business Next” is scheduled for May 13-14. The workshop will be recorded and made available for access following the workshop.
