The Southern California Pharmaceutical discussion group (SCPDG) is a local discussion group affiliated with AAPS. SCPDG is an organization focused on fostering education in and knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences, its industry, and regulations. The meetings provide a local forum for scientific exchange for members within Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego, Calif., counties.
By joining the SCPDG, you will be included in a dynamic and active group of dedicated professionals. Meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of the month in Orange County. Hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and networking will be from 6 pm–7 pm. Speaker presentations begin at 7 pm, followed by a question-and-answer session. Topics and speakers are chosen from suggestions made by members (i.e., pharmaceutical technology, drug and chemical delivery, analysis, toxicology, biotechnology, pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, etc.).
