About this Webcast:

This is career columnist and executive search consultant Pearl Freier's presentation on how the jobseeker can enter salary negotiations from a position of strength. Originally presented as an interactive event at the 2002 Annual Meeting in Toronto, the basic concepts have been extracted for this brief webcast.  Ms. Freier outlines a 5 step process she has designed that includes visioning, assessing your value proposition, linking your value to the marketplace, and win-win negotiation strategies. The goal of the system she shares is to help the jobseeker understand what their goals are and begin to plan how to respond to different offer scenarios.

Pearl Freier is Managing Director of the Life Sciences Division of Talent Capital Group, a venture capital funded executive search firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her clients range from pre-IPO early stage biotechnology companies to large pharmaceutical companies. She writes a monthly column for bio-itworld.com.
