Dear AAPS Family,
It is with sadness that I inform you that our friend and colleague,
Marshall Brown, passed away the evening of April 17, 2008.
Everyone who knew him was affected by the enthusiasm, energy and
the "can-do" attitude that was so reflective of Marshall's approach
to all that he did.
Victories were celebrated with "Happy Dances" and challenges were
only fuel for him to work harder. He brought a winning attitude
at all times.
In memory of Marshall,
John Lisack, Jr.

My deepest sympathy to Marshall's family, friends and co-worker's. One of my best memories of Marshall was attending a baseball game during the Boston NBC Meeting. I think his energy will always be present.

I was Marshall's English teacher his junior year at St. John's. I am very saddened to learn of his passing -- he is one who made an indelible impression upon my memory, among the many students whom I have taught in my 22-year teaching career. His intelligence and insight were notable, but even more important was the kindness and compassion he always extended to others.

Looking at all of the paperwork I have on my desk with the signature - Marshall Brown - I think of Marshall's phone calls where he would say "This is Marshall Brown" and I would say "This is Sheriff Jo", which would lead to a discussion of what was happening in our lives, etc. What a nice young gentleman that everyone will miss.

WindRose Analytica, Inc. will miss Marshall. We were saddened to hear of his passing. Marshall was a great guy whose "can-do" attitude will be remembered. He was there for us when we were starting the company and would give Alan and I a "pep" talk when we felt overwhelmed. He always had a "smile" that you could feel through the phone when talking with him. He helped us set up our first exhibit with AAPS and was always there for us no matter what the issue. Alan and I will miss Marshall on a personal as well as professional level.
Our love and thoughts go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Rusty Herman

Marshall was always so kind and considerate to us. We always welcomed seeing Marshall at every AAPS event. His can-do attitude was appreciated as a business associate and as a friend.

My deepest sympathies to Marshall's friends and family. I attended Highschool with Marshall at St. John's in Toledo, Ohio. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I always remember Marshall -- besides being a really nice person -- he was really smart at science and he had a great head of hair! Even though I have not seen him since graduation, the news of his passing brings many fond memories, and yet much sadness for he was taken from this earth too soon. Reading other peoples messages, I can see that he lived the St. John's motto of being a "man for others." My heart goes out to his loved ones.

I am so terribly sorry to hear of Marshall's passing! I have been fortunate to work with Marshall on many AAPS exhibits and sponsorships throughout the years. Not only was he professional and pleasant to work with, he was also a great friend. I knew when I saw him coming toward my booth in his golf cart, any problem I had was solved. I will miss Marshall and remember him fondly. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time.

Marshall and I worked together on several AAPS events, and I enjoyed every minute of those times. He was cheerful and efficient. His energy was boundless. His loss at such a young age creates deep sadness. He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten. His family and his AAPS colleagues have my thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy.

I am at a loss for words! I am in shock! Marshall was a friend...he was my go to with whatever I needed...if he didn't have an answer he was sure to find the answer - always with a smile and a kind word! I missed him last year but hoped he would be well enough to attend AAPS this year...rest in peace my friend, you will be missed!!

It has been an honor and privilege to work with a person as fine as Marshall. His genuine concern for exhibitors and their problems is rarely found in this industry. His warm, caring attitude will be greatly missed. He made you his friend as well as his business associate.

Everyone here at Tris Pharma, Inc. who knew Marshall send their heartfelt condolences to Marshall's family, friends and AAPS co-workers on their great loss. We will all remember how kind, honest and hard working Marshall was. As well as, how special he was to everyone who met him!

To Marshall's family, I chaired the 2007 AAPS annual meeting -- the last one for which Marshall was able to actively recruit exhibitors. I will never forget our discussion about the meeting and how proud he was of his incredible success. He said it was a banner year -- and he was right. Our meeting broke all records -- over 10,000 attendees. Exhibitor hall was packed. All that was missing was Marshall, who was then in the hospital for the first time.
Marshall was an exceptional person who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. We are all the richer for having been blessed with the opportunity to know him.

My sincere condolences to Marshall's family, friends and AAPS co-workers on their very great loss. Marshall was always helpful, pleasant and very professional in his communications, and the one time I had an opportunity to meet him in person during an on-site booth selection process. May wonderful memories of Marshall serve to console his loved ones.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Marshall, but he always treated me like he would a close friend during our phone conversations. I am very sad to learn of his passing and would like to pass on my condolences and those of our organization to his family and friends, and his family at AAPS.

My contact with Marshall was very brief, and we never met in person. But I can certainly attest to his professional and pleasant manner.
My sincere condolences to his family and his friends, who will no doubt miss him dearly. May he rest in peace!
