Although the names have changed, the AAPS Biotec Section has had continuous support for the Graduate Awards Symposium for five years. Through the generous sponsorship of Searle, Pharmacia, and now Pfizer, the AAPS Biotec Section has recognized the research achievements of promising graduate students and rewarded their work. These award symposia have been held at the AAPS Annual Meeting and at the AAPS National Biotechnology Conference. The section is grateful for this ongoing support.
