Pharmaceutical Research (ISSN: 0724-8741), an official journal of the AAPS, presents papers which describe innovative research spanning the entire spectrum of drug discovery, development, evaluation, and regulatory approval. Small drug molecules, biotechnology products including genes, peptides, proteins and vaccines, and genetically engineered cells are an integral part of papers published here. Current emphasis of the journal includes the following areas: preformulation; drug delivery and targeting; formulation design, engineering, and processing; pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenomics; molecular biopharmaceutics and drug disposition; and computational biopharmaceutics, among others.

Accessing Full Text Articles
AAPS members have access to full text articles of Pharmaceutical Research, The AAPS Journal, and AAPS PharmSciTech through PharmaGateway.net, the AAPS Official Journals' portal. PharmaGateway.net was created for the pharmaceutical sciences community to allow easy access to content jointly published by AAPS and Springer.

Submitting Your Research
Pharmaceutical Research uses Editorial Manager™ as its peer-review tracking system. Manuscripts must be submitted online by the corresponding author at www.editorialmanager.com/pharmres. You may be required to register as a new user with Editorial Manager upon your first visit. Straightforward login and registration procedures can be found on the Web site. Editorial Manager allows authors to track the progress of manuscript review in real time. Detailed, step-by-step instructions for submitting manuscripts can be found on the Web site.

Acquiring Permissions and Reprints
The Copyright Clearance Center’s RightsLink® service makes it faster and easier to secure permission from Springer journal titles to be republished in a secure intranet site, restricted internet site, CD-ROM/DVD, journal (print/online), book (hardcopy or electronic), coursepack, e-reserve, doctoral thesis, research project, magazine, newsletter, directory, newspaper, brochure/pamphlet, presentation, or photocopies/handouts.
Simply locate the desired content within the journal, then go to the article’s abstract, and click on "Permissions & Reprints" in the right-hand side menu to open a form that will facilitate your permission or reprint request.
