AAPS to Present Workshop on Drug Transporters
Recurring meeting to continue exchanges between drug transport experts WHO: The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) is a professional, scientific society of approximately 12,000 members employed in industry, academia, government and other research institutes worldwide. Founded in 1986, AAPS provides a dynamic international forum for the exchange of knowledge among scientists to enhance their contributions to public health. AAPS offers timely scientific programs, on-going education, information resources, opportunities for networking, and professional development.
WHAT: AAPS is pleased to present the workshop
Drug Transporters in ADME: From the Bench to the Bedside. The meeting will feature posters and exhibits, in addition to presentations and discussions.
WHY: This fifth biennial AAPS Workshop on Drug Transporters aims to build on the successes of previous meetings, and continue to provide opportunities for pharmaceutical, academic, and regulatory scientists to exchange ideas about cutting-edge transporter research. Areas of focus will include: recent developments, implications to drug discovery and development, preclinical-to-clinical translation, transporters in drug absorption, distribution, and excretion and toxicity.
