Regular Member (MR)
Professionals actively employed in industry or academia. Regular members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts), and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Full-time Graduate/Undergraduate Student (MS)
Full-time undergraduate or graduate student. Student status must be verified by Dean or Department Chair. Student members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts), and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Postdoctoral Fellow (MPD)
Has been awarded or has completed the requirements for a doctoral degree (e.g. Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., etc.) or foreign equivalent, and has been awarded a Fellowship or Traineeship or equivalent support (such as appointment in postgraduate research) for studies at the postdoctoral level. Post-Doctoral Fellows receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts), and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Retired Member (MRT)
Professionals who have retired from full-time employment in industry or academia. Retired members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts), and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
eSubscription (ME)
Professionals employed or affiliated with industry or academia who wish to access available AAPS membership benefits through an online format (only). eSubscribers are ineligible for conference and meeting discounts, and do not possess full voting rights in the Association.
