Membership Categories and Annual Dues
Regular Member (MR)
Professionals actively employed in industry, academia, government, consulting, or other research institutes. Regular members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts) and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Full-time Graduate/Undergraduate Student (MS)
Full-time undergraduate or graduate students. Student status must be verified by dean or department chair. Student members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts) and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Postdoctoral Fellow (MPD)
Has been awarded or has completed the requirements for a doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., etc.) or foreign equivalent and has been awarded a Fellowship or Traineeship or equivalent support (such as appointment in postgraduate research) for studies at the postdoctoral level. Postdoctoral Fellows receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts) and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.
Retired Member (MRT)
Professionals who have retired from full-time employment in industry, academia, government, consulting, or other research institutes. Retired members receive access to all AAPS member benefits (including conference/meeting discounts) and possess full voting rights according to the Association bylaws.

Subscription and Annual Fee
eSubscription (ME)
Professionals employed or affiliated with industry, academia, government, consulting, or other research institutes who wish to access available AAPS membership benefits through an online format (only). eSubscribers are ineligible for conference and meeting discounts, cannot purchase subscribtions to print editions of the journals at the member rate, and do not have full voting rights in the Association. eSubscribers also receive free access to archived AAPS webinars beginning thirty days after the session has been recorded.
