One New Investigator Grant awardee will receive $40,000 USD. The New Investigator Grant is open to full-time (12- and 9-month) tenured and non-tenured faculty with three years or less as assistant professor at the start of the grant application.

"We aim to develop a new type of biomaterials for genome engineering. With results obtained, we will further advance this novel platform of therapeutics for Phase I clinical trials in the future.
